We want ads to stay out of your way. The free version only shows them when you use it heavily.
Everything works out of the box, and everyday use rarely sees an ad.
After a certain number of actions in a day, an ad window appears every so many actions at random.
You can close the ad after a few seconds, and it also closes by itself; the action you started then continues.
The count starts over each day. Upgrade to Pro and ads never appear.

Yes. Downloading and using FebHop is free, and every feature is available right away. After a certain number of actions in a day, FebHop shows its own ads from time to time; when an ad closes, the action you started continues.
Pro removes all ads, so nothing interrupts you no matter how many actions you perform each day. Every other feature is the same as in the free version. Buy it once, or subscribe monthly and cancel anytime. Buying Pro also supports ongoing development.

Yes. Pro belongs to your Apple Account, not your FebHop account. Sign in to the App Store with the same Apple Account on your new Mac, then choose Restore Purchases in App Settings › FebHop Pro.
Two ways: a one-time purchase that removes ads for good, or a monthly auto-renewing subscription you can cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown on the App Store. Both are in-app purchases, and Apple handles the payment. On Windows, both are bought through the Microsoft Store, and Microsoft handles the payment.
